Info Security Products Guide Awards recognized Hitachi ID's privileged password management solution ID-Archive as the sole winner in the identity management category.

an April 9th Gartner report by Ant Allan, titled:
ID-Archive is privileged password management software designed to secure large numbers of local administrator accounts, service accounts and application logins. It works by frequently randomizing each sensitive password, typically on a daily schedule. ID-Archive discloses sensitive passwords to well-authenticated system administrators, updates the service control manager on Windows with new passwords and allows application passwords to retrieve database and middleware connect passwords.
This solution eliminates inappropriate retention of sensitive administrative access by current and former staff and mitigates risks posed by password cracking software.
