M-Tech's Enhanced Secure Telephone Password Reset Solution Offers Added Value on Pricing and Product Features
ID-Telephony Delivers More for Less
Calgary, AB - August 1, 2005 - M-Tech Information Technology, Inc., a leading provider of identity management (IdM) solutions today announced the offering of its enhanced turn-key telephony-enabled password reset solution, P-SynchIVR 4.0.
P-SynchIVR is a convenient solution allowing self-service password reset via a telephone interface. It is useful for mobile and remote users who cannot readily access a web user interface for self-service, and for users who may be accustomed to obtaining service assistance from their IT help desk via the telephone.
Customers may deploy P-SynchIVR as a stand-alone solution, or in conjunction with an existing IVR infrastructure. Users can be authenticated via touch-tone PIN, two factor token card, or biometric/voice print mechanisms. Once authenticated, users can manage passwords on any target system supported by the Hitachi ID Management Suite, manage their SecurID token card and request the re-issuance of PKI digital certificates.
"Hitachi ID Management Suite's open architecture allows for easy integration with any third party IVR and biometric solution," said Idan Shoham, M-Tech's CTO. "This has allowed many customers to integrate their existing telephony infrastructure with M-Tech's solutions. For example, one of our customers provides biometric voice print authentication services to over 150,000 users using their existing IVR and biometric engine. With P-SynchIVR, M-Tech provides a scalable turnkey solution for its 500 plus customers who may not have their own extensible IVR environment."
"P-SynchIVR enables our customers' end users to reset their passwords from remote locations, in an unattended mode, on a 7x24 basis," said Steve Cameron, senior vice president of managed services for Siemens Business Services. "This provides obvious operational benefits and improved productivity."
P-SynchIVR is available as an add-on to an M-Tech IdM Suite installation. For maximum flexibility, P-SynchIVR can operate on stand-alone servers or on existing P-Synch servers thereby requiring minimal additional hardware configuration and enabling the fastest possible deployment. P-SynchIVR's price is substantially lower than any competitive solution while providing the most extensive functionality. A similar price differential also applies to the biometric voice print authentication options. P-SynchIVR pricing starts at $2 per user for the touch-tone/RSA SecurID authentication options, with decreasing pricing for large user populations.
