- HTTP (World-Wide Web) server or cache.
- ``Regular'' (user-ID and password required) ftp server.
- Accepts secure-shell (ssh) connections.
- Software development tools:
- C and/or C++
- Perl
- Bourne, Korn, C or another shell; using sed, awk, grep and similar tools.
